Weather & Site Monitoring November 1, 2020

The Paramount Teams will be monitoring the sites throughout the evening hours of November 1 into the early morning hours of November 2, 2020.  The northern parts of the GTA as well Kitchener, Waterloo are experiencing snow squalls throughout, strong, gusty winds and locally heavy flurries, tonight into early Monday.  In the wake of a sharp cold front, strong winds gusting up to 80 km/h will be possible tonight.  These strong winds will be accompanied by locally heavy flurries, resulting in local blowing snow and reduced visibilities at times.  The strong winds and heavy flurries will ease early Monday morning.  With the contracts not beginning until November 15 for snow removal services we may have some difficulties getting salt from our suppliers.  The temperatures are expected to rise throughout the overnight and into the morning but we will continue to monitor and update.
