The Paramount Service teams throughout Toronto, Scarborough and Markham teams will be starting a full salt service run within these regions as of 12am on January 27, 2022. Some sites may have to be plowed in which our teams will take care of that on site. Most sites within these regions have received anywhere from 1 to 2cm of snowfall, with the temperatures the teams will be making the call to plow before salting as it’s going to be around -11° and -12°C. Please note, salt loses it’s effectiveness after -7°C and can take longer to react in these cold temperatures. We have an estimated completion of all sites to be serviced by 6am on January 27, 2022. Please check back to this site for service level updates should the conditions change.
