The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown teams will be starting a full salt service run throughout these region as of 11pm on December 9, 2021. All areas have received anywhere from a trace to 2 cm of snowfall throughout and the snow ended roughly around 10pm. This salt service run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas from forming as the temperatures are still around the freezing mark and doesn’t start to rise until the early morning of December 10th, 2021. The Paramount Service teams throughout Toronto, Scarborough and Markham teams will be monitoring the weather system that is forecasted for these regions to begin around 7pm with Scattered Flurries changing to Light Snow ending around 11pm December 9th, 2021. These service regions could see a centimeter of snow fall during this time. In Markham there is a higher chance to see more snow around 2cm during this time. Temperatures within these cities are remaining above freezing during this system between 0 and 1° with temperatures climbing throughout the overnight and into Friday December 10, 2021. Within Markham, temperatures at the beginning of this system is forecasted to start around -2° and climb overnight to above freezing.
