Site Servicing and Weather Monitoring December 11, 2022

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown have been monitoring all sites within these regions as of 1am. The system that is passing through started around 4am on December 11, 2022. Within these areas as of 6am all teams have been called in for a salt service run, these areas have received around a trace amount of snowfall. Salt Service Run began as of 7am. Temperatures are hovering around the -1° mark with temperatures on the rise as we get into the morning. Burlington is forecasted to possibly see 2.2cm from 6am to 1pm, Oakville .5cm of snowfall from 6am to 10am and changing to mix precipitation 11-12pm, Waterdown .4cm of snowfall from 6-10am with a mixed precipitation from 11am to 2pm and Milton could see an additional 2.5cm of snowfall from 6am to 1pm. Our teams started their runs as of 7am on Sunday December 11th and we have an estimated completion of these runs as of 1pm. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The system that is passing through started around 4am on December 11, 2022. Within these areas as of 6am all teams have been called in for a salt service run, these areas have received around a trace amount of snowfall. Salt Service run began as of 7am. Temperatures are hovering around the -1° mark with temperatures on the rise as we get into the morning. Hamilton is forecasted to possibly see 1.4cm from 6am to 9am changing to mix precipitation from 10 to 11am, Stoney Creek .3cm of snowfall from 6am to 8am and changing to mix precipitation 9-12pm, Brantford .9cm of snowfall from 6-9am with a mixed precipitation from 9am to 11am. Guelph is forecasted to possibly see 6cm from 6am to 11am, Kitchener 2.5cm of snowfall from 6am to 10am, Waterloo 2.6cm of snowfall from 6-11am and Cambridge could see an additional 2.5cm of snowfall from 6am to 11am. Mississauga is forecasted to possibly see 2.8cm from 6am to 1pm, Brampton an additional 3.3cm of snowfall from 6am to 1pm. The Paramount Service teams throughout Mississauga and Brampton will be monitoring a system that is forecasted within these regions to begin around 9pm with a mixed precipitation of rain and snow. This system is forecasted to change over to snow around 11pm and go through until Sunday December 11 around 1pm. Within these regions we anticipate anywhere from 3 to 4cm of snowfall throughout, at this time no decisions have been made as to what services our teams will be performing whether a salt run or if we will have to be plowing. We will be monitoring this system as it comes through and will be making a decision early morning for service levels. All teams remain on standby. Oshawa is forecasted to possibly see .5cm from 6am to 10am changing to mix precipitation from 10 until 2pm , Ajax .4cm of snowfall from 6am to 10am and changing to mix precipitation 10-2pm. The Paramount Service teams throughout Fort Erie service areas have been monitoring the system that is hitting all other service regions throughout this weather episode that began around 1am on December 11, 2022. Within Fort Erie there is a chance to see .2cm of snow mixed with rain and temperatures remain above 0 during this system.
