The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown are watching another winter storm that is forecasted to begin around 9pm on January 28, 2023. This storm has a potential of 5 to 7cm from 9pm on January 28 to 5pm on January 29, 2023. Our teams are monitoring a mix of wintry weather beginning this evening and continuing through Sunday. A few centimeters of snow are expected this evening and then a switch to rain is likely Sunday morning before more cold air arrives and a few more centimeters of snow is possible by Sunday evening. Total snowfall over the area is expected to be less than 5 cm however if the cold air pushes southward over the region then a few more centimeters of snow is possible. Temperatures during this system are forecasted to hover around -3 to 0 and below freezing towards the end of the system. Our teams are on standby in preparation of this winter storm, we will continue to monitor this system and will update once decisions are made as to our plan of attack.
