Site and Weather Monitoring / Servicing January 10, 2023

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will be monitoring all sites within these regions during the evening and overnight hours of January 9 into January 10, 2023. Within these regions there has been a threat of freezing rain from 10pm to 12am with less than a millimeter of freezing rain. Our teams will be monitoring all sites and all staff remain on standby should a service be required. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

** UPDATE – As of 3am on January 10th, 2023 our teams in Milton were called out to perform a salt service run. This region had seen some precipitation in form of light drizzle and with the temperatures hovering around 0 to -1° during the early morning hours our teams are performing this salt service run to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. We have an anticipated completion of this run by 8am on January 10, 2023. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

** UPDATE – As of 3am all sites within Burlington, Oakville and Waterdown sites were checked and as of this time no servicing is required. All teams remain on standby should service levels change.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge will be monitoring all sites within these regions during the evening and overnight hours of January 9 into January 10, 2023. Within these regions there has been a threat of freezing rain from 10pm to 12am with less than a millimeter of freezing rain. ** UPDATE – As of 11pm on January 9 our teams within Guelph were called out to perform a salt service run within this region. These areas have seen more precipitation in the form of rain / drizzle and with the temperatures hovering around 0 to -2° overnight, this salt run was decided to be performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. We have an anticipated completion of this run as of 4am on January 10th, 2023. All other regions will continue to be monitored and we will update as the evening goes on if servicing is required.

** UPDATE – As of 1am our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge were called out to perform a salt service run within these regions. There were reports of these areas starting to get slippery. Our teams were called out to perform this salt service run to help combat the slippery areas as the temperatures are hovering between 0 to -1°. These areas had also seen the drizzle same as Guelph. We have an anticipated completion of these sites by 5am on January 10th, 2023. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
