Site and Weather Monitoring November 27, 2023

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will be monitoring all sites throughout the evening and overnight hours of November 27th, 2023 as the forecast is showing scattered flurries to begin around 6pm and go through until the early evening of November 28.  Temperatures during this weather episode are below freezing sitting around -3°C, we anticipate a salt service run to be completed within all regions during the overnight and early morning hours of November 28.  Our Snow Management staff are monitoring the system as we could see anywhere from 2 – 2.5cm with a possibility of close to 5cm in Waterdown, throughout these regions and this weather episode.  If the salt service run is required this will be to help combat the flurries as well help prevent slippery areas from arising.  We will continue to monitor this weather system and all teams are on standby.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as well any weather updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Brantford will be monitoring all sites throughout the evening and overnight hours of November 27th, 2023 as the forecast is showing scattered flurries to begin around 6pm and go through until the early evening of November 28.  Temperatures during this weather episode are below freezing sitting around -3°C, we anticipate a salt service run to be completed within all regions during the overnight and early morning hours of November 28.  Our Snow Management staff are monitoring the system as we could see anywhere from 2 – 2.5cm with Brantford potentially seeing anywhere from 5 to 10cm throughout this weather episode.  If the salt service run is required this will be to help combat the flurries as well help prevent slippery areas from arising and depending on the outcome with the Brantford region the teams may have to switch gears to plow service.  We will continue to monitor this weather system and all teams are on standby.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as well any weather updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge will be monitoring all sites throughout the evening and overnight hours of November 27th, 2023 as the forecast is showing scattered flurries to begin around 6pm and go through until the early evening of November 28.  Temperatures during this weather episode are below freezing sitting around -3°C, we anticipate a salt service run to be completed within all regions during the overnight and early morning hours of November 28.  Our Snow Management staff are monitoring the system as we could see anywhere from 2 – 4cm throughout these regions and this weather episode.  If the salt service run is required this will be to help combat the flurries as well help prevent slippery areas from arising.  Environment Canada has posted for these regions a Snow Squall Warning which could result in seeing anywhere from 10 – 15cm of snowfall during this weather episode.  If this is the case our teams will be changing service levels and we will update at that time.  We will continue to monitor this weather system and all teams are on standby.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as well any weather updates.
