Site and Weather Monitoring February 16, 2023

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will be monitoring a potential system that is forecasted during the afternoon and into the evening on February 16, 2023. Around 2pm for most regions the temperatures are starting to drop and a chance of mixed precipitation could happen then change to Rain around 7pm. Temperatures are hovering around the 1 to 0°C mark then dipping below freezing around 10pm with a chance of freezing rain. Environment Canada posted a freezing rain warning for all regions. Around 1am on February 17 we are forecasted to see the freezing rain change to scattered flurries with a chance of close to a centimeter of snow which is anticipated to last until 8am on February 17, 2023. Our teams are monitoring this system and anticipate a salt service run to take place during the evening hours of February 16, 2023. Temperatures are remaining above freezing for most of the day today starting to drop around 7pm with a chance of light rain at 3°. Temperatures will slowly start to drop within this region and around hovering around 3am there is a chance to see some freezing rain until 4am then transition to scattered flurries with the chance of close to a centimeter of snow.
