Salt Servicing March 23, 2024

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will be starting a full salt service run of all regions as of 1am on March 23, 2024.  These areas had been seeing scattered flurries throughout the evening on March 22 and are forecasted to continue until the early morning hours of March 23rd, 2024 forecasted to end around 4am.  Our teams performed a full salt service run on March 22nd, 2024 due to the storm that was passing through all regions, we received anywhere from a trace to a centimeter of snowfall during the afternoon hours.  This salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas from arising as well to help combat the snow that is in the forecast which could bring us another centimeter of snowfall.  Temperatures during this weather episode are forecasted to be sitting around -3°C with the temperatures on the rise for the daytime on March 23rd with a high of 3°C.  We have an estimated completion of all routes as of 6am, residential properties will be checked and if we are at the 5cm threshold they will be serviced.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
