Salt Servicing Completion March 23, 2024

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a full salt service run of all regions as of 1am on March 23, 2024.  These areas had been seeing scattered flurries throughout the evening on March 22 and are forecasted to continue until the early morning hours of March 23rd, 2024 forecasted to end around 4am.  This is the continuation of the storm that started on March 22, 2024.  Our teams performed a full salt service run on March 22nd, 2024 due to the storm that was passing through all regions, we received anywhere from a trace to a centimeter of snowfall during the afternoon hours.  This salt run which began early morning on March 23 was performed to help combat any slippery areas from arising as well to help combat the snow that fell which was anywhere from 1 to 2cm of snow accumulation.  Temperatures during this weather episode were around -3°C with the temperatures on the rise for the daytime on March 23rd with a high of 3°C.  Our teams completed this salt service run as of 6am on March 23, 2024.  Residential properties within Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown were checked and if were at the 5cm threshold they were serviced.  All teams have been sent home for a mandatory rest period as the teams have been servicing all properties since early afternoon on March 22, 2024.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
