Salt Service Run December 23, 2022

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a full salt service run of all properties as of 6am on December 23, 2022. All teams were deployed to perform this salt service run to help combat the snow that was in the forecast as well combat the slippery areas that were anticipated due to the rain that was received and temperatures dropped drastically. Around 8am most areas within these regions started seeing the rain change to mixed precipitation to snow. All sites were serviced with a salt service run and were completed by 11am on December 23. Our teams are having a rest this afternoon and we will be back out for another service run during the evening hours. We anticipate a full plow service with a salt run commencing right after as we are forecasted to see another 2-4cm of snowfall during the afternoon and another centimeter of snow fall during the overnight hours. The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Brantford started a full salt service run of all properties as of 6am on December 23, 2022. All teams were deployed to perform this salt service run to help combat the snow that was in the forecast as well combat the slippery areas that were anticipated due to the rain that was received and temperatures dropped drastically. Around 8am most areas within these regions started seeing the rain change to mixed precipitation to snow. All sites were serviced with a salt service run and were completed by 9am on December 23 within Brantford. Our Hamilton and Stoney Creek trucks completed this salt service run as of 1pm as there was a truck breakdown which delayed by 2-3 hours. Our teams are having a rest this afternoon and we will be back out for another service run during the evening hours. We anticipate a full plow service with a salt run commencing right after as we are forecasted to see another 2-4cm of snowfall during the afternoon and another centimeter of snow fall during the overnight hours. The Paramount Service teams throughout Fort Erie service started a full salt service run of all properties as of 7am on December 23, 2022. All teams were deployed to perform this salt service run to help combat the snow that was in the forecast as well combat the slippery areas that were anticipated due to the rain that was received and temperatures dropped drastically. All sites were serviced with a plow and salt service run and were completed by 10am on December 23. This area has received around 10-15cm of snowfall throughout the first leg of this storm and continue to see snow. Fort Erie is calling for another 10-15cm during the day today with another 15-20 centimeters during the overnight hours. Our teams are having a rest this afternoon and we will be back out for another service run during the evening hours. Our teams will be back out tonight to perform another clearing of properties and again in the early morning hours to cleanup again. This is a very large storm to hit Fort Erie and our teams will be working diligently to keep sites clear and safe with repeated visits during this weather episode. Please if you do not have to be on the roads, please do not as the road conditions are blizzard like conditions and can be very dangerous at times.
