Salt Service Run December 16, 2022

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a salt service run as of 12am on December 16, we have an estimated completion of this salt run as of 4am on December 16. Within these regions we started we mainly saw rain throughout but our teams were dispatched as of midnight to perform a salt service run as there is a risk of temperatures dipping below the freezing point. This service is being performed to help combat any slippery areas from forming with the potential below freezing. Our teams will complete this salt service run and remain on call should any further service requirements arise. Please check back to this site for future updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Brantford started a salt service run as of 12am on December 16, we have an estimated completion of this salt run as of 4am on December 16. The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph started another full salt service run of all properties within this region as of 12am on December 16, 2022. Within this region there was an additional 1-1.5cm of snowfall throughout the evening and morning hours of December 16, 2022. This salt run was called to help combat the slippery areas from the freezing rain as well the mixed precipitation that is continuing as well. The service teams for Guelph completed their run as of 4am on December 16. Kitchener and Waterloo started a full salt service run for our clients due to the snow that continued to fall took place during the afternoon of December 15. Our teams within Guelph completed their salt service run as of 3:30am. Teams within Kitchener were called out for a salt service run as of 3am with an anticipated completion of this run as of 8am. Our teams within Cambridge were called out as of 3am as well with an anticipated completion of this run as of 8am on December 16. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

Within these areas another band of snow came through and an additional 2-3cm fell on top of all properties that had been previously salted during the day time. Our teams were dispatched to perform this salt service run to help combat the snow that fell and the potential of more snow throughout the morning which is forecasted. Our teams will remain on standby should any weather change upon completion of this service run as there is a potential for another 2cm of snowfall throughout the overnight and early morning hour before transitioning to rain and temperatures rising to above freezing. Within these areas another band of snow came through and an additional 2-3cm fell on top of all properties that had been previously salted during the day time. Our teams were dispatched to perform this salt service run to help combat the snow that fell and the potential of more snow throughout the morning which is forecasted.
