Paramount Service teams within Burlington, Oakville, Waterdown and Milton started a full salt service run as of 2am on January 19, 2021.  All sites received a trace to 1cm of snowfall throughout the early morning hours.  Temperatures are forecasted to go below 0 so a salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas from arising.  All teams were completed their routes by 6am on January 19, 2021.  Residential properties were not serviced during this weather episode as we did not hit the 5cm threshold.

Sites within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge will be monitored during this event.  These sites received a salt service run during the morning of January 18, 2021 so these sites will continue to be monitored.  We will update this site if servicing is required but all sites should be fine with the residual salt that is on sites.  As of 5am all sites were checked and no servicing has been required during this weather event.  All teams are continuing to monitor all sites throughout the Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge regions and are on call should this change.
