Salt Service Run Completion December 30, 2020

Paramount Service teams within Burlington, Oakville, Waterdown and Milton started their salt service runs as of 3am on December 30, 2020.  As of 4am a brief system hit these service areas and in an hour we had received anywhere from 2 to 4cm of snowfall.  Some areas that approached the 4cm mark received a plow and salt service, all others received a straight salt run.  We are expecting rain today and the salt should help combat any slippery areas as the temperatures rise.  Our teams will be monitoring sites throughout the day as well as the temperatures fluctuate.  Within these service regions we did not hit the 5cm threshold for residential properties to be serviced.  All sites were serviced within these regions by 9:30am on December 30, 2020.  All teams are on standby should any further servicing be required.
