Winter Storm Watch Update February 18, 2021

Snow

On Time

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started their service runs as of 9pm on February 18, 2021.  The teams started a full plow run of all areas within Oakville, Milton and Waterdown as these areas have received anywhere from 5-7cm of snowfall with a salt run that commenced right after.  Burlington received a salt service run as we were forecasted to receive around 1-2cm of snowfall.  The system changed and turned around and dropped more snow throughout this system.  As of 8am the teams have been sent home for around 3 hours to rest and we will reconvene during the morning to decide when we will be back out for further servicing.  Oakville, Milton and Waterdown may require another full plow run whereas Burlington will most likely be a salt service run.  We will update as the morning goes and what the game plan is for the crews.
