Winter Storm Watch Update February 15 – February 16, 2021

This past week has definitely been one for the books for the Paramount Service teams in all regions across the GTA. After receiving in some regions upwards of 90cm of snow since Friday February 12, we are now expecting upwards of 30cm overnight February 16, 2021 in all of our service regions.

The brunt of the storm will be at its strongest from 11pm of February 15 to 4am of February 16 where at this point 15cm is predicted to fall. We will be dispatching our crews at around the 2-3am mark on February 16, 2021 just around the time when the heaviest snow is slowing down. With 30+ cm coming, our completion time for plowing all sites as per the agreement will be above the 8 hour mark. But as per usual we will be working very diligently to ensure your property is safe within an appropriate time period.

Strong winds gusting up to 50 km/h are expected to produce local blowing snow from this evening into Tuesday afternoon.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
