The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown have been monitoring this storm which has been very unpredictable, the weather networks have no idea and are changing their forecast hourly. As of right now we are expecting heavy snow from 5pm to 9pm, our teams will be on the road by 6pm and servicing open businesses, Seniors homes, medical facilities first and condos and closed business last.
The weather networks are still calling for freezing rain, but it is quickly changing each hour as we go to more snow instead of their current prediction. As of right now we are going to be moving snow but are not in a hurry because we do want the freezing rain to fall on snow not on cleared pavement until after midnight. This is the safest option for our customers and their visitors. As of right now we are planning for a plow of all sites follow by another plow to touch up and a couple salt runs by noon tomorrow. This is based on current weather predictions but as mentioned it is changing hourly right now by all five weather analysts. If the weather continues to change to snow, this plan will change with the forecast.
From 6pm until tomorrow at noon most places will be very dangerous including possibly even city roads. Please plan accordingly and stay safe.
We will be updating the snow line over night for customers to check in the morning where are teams are at.
