Winter Storm Service Completion February 16, 2021

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown began their routes as of 3am on February 16, 2021 to perform a full plow service. All areas by the end of the storm had received anywhere from 20-25cm of snowfall during this weather event. All sites were serviced with a plow and a salt run commenced after clearing and teams were completed by 1am on February 17, 2021. The salt run was performed using treated salt as the temperatures were well below freezing after this storm. This storm was tricky as there was a lot of blizzard like conditions which slowed our teams down to ensure they got to each site safely. All residential properties were serviced during this storm as we received well over the 5cm threshold of snow accumulation. The teams worked diligently to get around to all sites in a timely manner and also dealt with some machine malfunctions during this run. Teams will be back out during the overnight hours of February 17 as well during the day time to do some touch ups of the properties. Thank you for your patience with us during this storm, this was the 3rd winter storm in the span of 3 days seeing 80+cm of snowfall. Winter has surely made it’s appearance this week.
