The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown are continuing to watch another winter storm that is forecasted to begin around 9pm on January 28, 2023. This storm has a potential of 5 to 8cm from 9pm on January 28 to 5pm on January 29, 2023. Our teams are monitoring a mix of wintry weather beginning this evening and continuing through Sunday. A few centimeters of snow were expected during the evening on January 28 and then a switch to rain is likely Sunday morning before more cold air arrives and a few more centimeters of snow is possible by Sunday evening. Total snowfall over the area is expected to be less than 5 cm however if the cold air pushes southward over the region then a few more centimeters of snow is possible. Temperatures during this system are forecasted to hover around -3 to 0 and below freezing towards the end of the system. All sites within our service areas have a significant amount of residual salt from the previous salt run events that have taken place leading up to this storm. Our teams have been called in for a full service run as of 9am on January 29, 2023. We anticipate a full plow service followed by a salt service run. We will continue to monitor this system and will update as this system comes through. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
