The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown teams were called in for a full service run as of 10am on January 29, 2023. With the change in this weather system we are planning to start a full salt service run of all properties. Within these regions we had seen the change in weather that was originally forecasted that was to begin in the evening of January 28 but as of the morning of January 29, 2023 when the precipitation began around 7am was just light flurries. Our teams were performing this salt service run to help combat the snow that fell as well to help combat any slippery areas due to the temperature fluctuating from -3 to 0°. Temperatures are also falling well below freezing throughout the evening so this salt run will help combat slippery areas. Our teams completed their salt service run within Burlington, Oakville and Waterdown as of 3pm on January 29, 2023. Our sites within Milton all received a full plow service followed by a salt service run. This city received close to 5cm of snowfall so properties within Milton and Carlisle were plowed and salted. The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge teams were called in for a full service run as of 10am on January 29, 2023. With the change in this weather system we are planning to start a full salt service run of all properties. Within these regions we had seen the change in weather that was originally forecasted that was to begin in the evening of January 28 but as of the morning of January 29, 2023 when the precipitation began around 7am was just light flurries. Our teams were performing this service run to help combat the snow that fell as well to help combat any slippery areas due to the temperature fluctuating from -3 to 0°. Most sites within Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph required to have a full plow service followed by a salt service run during this episode. Within these regions we had seen close to 5 – 6cm of snowfall which required to be plowed before salting these properties. Temperatures are also falling well below freezing throughout the evening so this salt run will help combat slippery areas. Our teams completed their salt service run within these regions as of 3pm on January 29, 2023.
