The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a full salt service run as of 9pm on January 19, 2022. Most sites were wet with some areas that were puddling and with the weather statement that was posted earlier today we decided a salt run was necessary. Temperatures throughout the day were above freezing so some melting on sites occurred, once the sun went down the temperature started to drop drastically. Forecast is showing that the temperatures are going to drop 20-22 degrees within 12-18 hours which could lead to icy areas on sites. This salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. Our teams completed their runs by 2am on January 20, 2022.
