Weather Monitoring November 22, 2020

The Paramount Service teams are monitoring the weather system that started on November 22nd around 7am in the Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby areas. The pattern shows that these areas will begin with scattered flurries and light snow for the majority of the day changing over to a mixed precipitation in these service areas. Within Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby we could see possibly 1 to 3cm of snowfall. We will be monitoring the system as it comes through the service areas and will determine the level of servicing that will be performed. All service teams in these areas are on standby and will be ready to deploy.

The Paramount Service teams in the Guelph areas will be starting their routes for a plow and shovel teams as of 2pm. These areas have received anywhere between 5 to 7 cm. The snow is forecasted to continue until about 7pm on November 22, 2020. Our teams will be back around tonight to perform a second run of these sites during the night with a possibility of another plow run as well salting all sites.

The service teams in the Kitchener-Waterloo areas will be starting their routes by 3pm with all sites for a full plow and walks run. These areas received 5 to 7cm of snow. The teams will be going back through the sites later today for a secondary run including salting.

The Paramount Service teams are monitoring the upcoming weather system that started in the early morning hours of November 22nd in the Toronto, Richmond Hill and Markham areas. The pattern shows that these areas will begin with scattered flurries and light snow for the majority of the day changing over to a mixed precipitation switching back to light snow in these service areas. Within Toronto we could see possibly 2-4cm of snowfall, while Richmond Hill and Markham could see close to 10 to 15 cm. We will be monitoring the system as it comes through the service areas and will determine the level of servicing that will be performed. All service teams in these areas are on standby and will be ready to deploy.

We are forecasted to see a change in weather during the evening on November 22nd to light snow. Within Mississauga we could receive close to 5cm, Brampton close to 10cm and Georgetown close to 10 to 15cm. We will be monitoring the system as it comes through the service areas and will determine the level of servicing that will be performed. All service teams in these areas are on standby and will be ready to deploy.
