The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will be monitoring a system that is forecasted to being throughout all regions around 8pm on December 18th, 2023.  All teams are currently on standby while we monitor this system and make a decision as to what level of servicing is required.  All regions will be seeing rain throughout the majority of the day on December 18th and slowly transitioning to snow around 8pm.  Throughout this time the temperatures are remaining above freezing and start to dip to 0° and below around 10pm.  Throughout the regions we are forecasted to potentially see anywhere from 2-3cm of snowfall.  At this time all teams have been put on standby for a salt service run to take place during the overnight hours of December 18 into the morning of December 19th, 2023.  This salt run is going to be performed to help combat the snow that is forecasted to fall during this weather episode but also to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the temperature dropping well below freezing sitting around -4°C.  Our teams will continue to monitor these regions and we will update once a decision has been made as to start times for servicing.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as well any weather updates.
