** UPDATE – As of 2pm on January 14, 2024 our teams were patrolling our sites within all regions Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. Our teams withi Guelph and Cambridge performed a tidy up and salt service run. Our teams within Kitchener and Waterloo have also been out since early afternoon performing tidy ups as well shoveling and salting at all properties. Within Kitchener, Waterloo these cities saw another 2-4cm throughout the morning hours before our teams came back out to cleanup. Teams are performing the salt service run with treated salt, with the temperatures being below -7 regular road salt can lose it’s effectiveness. Our teams will continue to monitor sites and the weather throughout the overnight as there is a potential for more scattered flurries by January 15, 2024.
