After receiving upwards of 35cm of snow on February 12, 2021 and into the overnight hours we are expected to receive according the to some weather outlets up to an additional 30-40cm today into the overnight hour within the golden horseshoe area. The snow began within these service regions around 7am and is forecasted to continue throughout the day and into the evening.
Over the past few hours within the Burlington region we have been opening up main ways and laneways so that emergency vehicles and the such can have access to your property. In the Burlington, Oakville Milton, Waterdown, Carlisle regions we have a full dispatch at 6pm. In the Hamilton region which has been hit the hardest today, all plow and walks crew are out clearing and have been for the past few hours.
We will continue to monitor all other regions and will dispatch according to regional weather conditions.
** UPDATE – All teams were dispatched for 6pm on February 13, 2021 to perform a full plow and salt service run within Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown. These areas received an additional 20-25cm of snowfall during this weather system that began on February 13, 2021. We have an anticipated completion of all sites by 10am on February 14, 2021. Milton received around 1 – 2cm of snowfall so these areas will receive a salt service run.
** UPDATE – We have experienced some equipment malfunctions during this service run at this time we do not anticipate any delays from our original anticipated completion time.

** UPDATE – All service teams began their service runs with opening lanes and manes on all properties on February 13, 2021 and teams will be out for a second service run with another plow and salt run to complete the run after a rest period. At this time we anticipate our completion of Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Grimsby and Brantford by 9am on February 14, 2021.

Paramount Service teams within Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge are gearing up for another storm that is forecasted to begin around 8am on February 13, 2021. These service areas are expected to receive another 20-25cm of snowfall during this weather system with areas closer to and above the 401 forecasted to receive less. This system is forecasted to start in the morning and continue into the overnight hours of February 13, 2021. All teams will be on standby until the decision is made to deploy. Once the call is made all teams will be performing a full plow service run followed by a salt service run. Please check back to this site for service level updates throughout this weather episode.

** UPDATE- as of 12pm on February 13, 2021 these sites have not received any accumulation throughout. All teams are continuing to monitor all sites and are on standby for servicing. Please check back to this site for service level updates.

** UPDATE – as of 12am our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and Cambridge started a salt service run on February 13, 2021 as these sites received anywhere from 2 – 3cm of snowfall. The salt run will be performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as the temperatures remain well below freezing. We have an anticipated completion of this run by 7am on February 14, 2021.

This system is forecasted to start in the morning and continue into the overnight hours of February 13, 2021. All teams will be on standby until the decision is made to deploy. These service areas are expected to receive another 20-25cm of snowfall during this weather system with areas closer to and above the 401 forecasted to receive less. This system is forecasted to start in the morning and continue into the overnight hours of February 13, 2021. All teams will be on standby until the decision is made to deploy.
