The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown teams have been monitoring a weather system that is in the forecast to begin early hours of January 28th, 2024 around 2am within these regions.  There is a potential for mixed precipitation to fall during the hours of 2am to 5am with temperatures around 0°C, as of 6am the forecast is showing it is to change to snow with a potential for 1-2cm of snowfall until 2pm on January 28, 2024.  During this system temperatures are hovering around 0°C.  Our snow management teams have called all teams in for 11pm to start a salt service run of all properties throughout all regions.  With the properties being damp from the drizzle that was seen throughout the regions on January 27th our teams are performing this run to help combat any slippery areas from forming.  We are also performing this salt service run to help combat the mixed precipitation as well combat the snow which could potentially bring a couple of centimeters of snow.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
