Site Servicing & Monitoring November 28, 2023

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Brantford are monitoring all sites throughout these regions on November 28, 2023.  Throughout these service regions we are seeing bursts of snow which is forecasted to possibly be difficult at time to see.  We have been monitoring all sites throughout and as of 11am with our sites being serviced last night are still clean.  We will continue to monitor and should servicing be required we will update the site.  The temperatures remain still below freezing around -2.  We are still seeing flurries with a possibility of close to a centimeter of snow.  Please note we are dealing with lake effect snow throughout this weather episode which is very unpredictable.  The salt service run was performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the wet snow and high potential for freezing as the temperatures are hovering around the -3 to -5°C depending on the region.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as well any weather updates.

** UPDATE – As of 7am on November 28 our teams within Kitchener and Waterloo were hit by a streamer coming through and received close to 4cm of snowfall.  The teams within these regions started another run with having to plow.  As of 8am our teams are being put onto standby as the streamers keep circling and more snow continues to fall.  Our teams will be back out to service the properties once again with plowing and another salt service run once the snow has stopped.  We anticipate within 2-3 hours but could be longer pending weather.  We will continue to monitor these regions and will update once our teams are back out for another service run.  Thank you for your patience. **

** UPDATE – as of 10am our teams within the Woodstock area have been serviced with a salt service run.  This salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as well help combat the snow and future snow that has fallen.  Our teams will continue to monitor these regions and will update should service levels change.  Please check back to this site for future updates.
