The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown have been monitoring this potential system that is forecasted during the evening on February 16, 2023 and into the early morning of February 17, 2023. Temperatures have been slowly dropping throughout all regions and are forecasted to see some freezing rain begin around 8pm and last until 1am. At that point it is forecasted to transition into scattered flurries around 2am and go until 10am on February 17, 2023. We could potentially see close to a centimeter of snow during this time. Our teams have been called in for 9pm to start a full salt service run of all properties to help combat any slippery areas from forming with the potential freezing rain. This run will also help combat the flurries that are forecasted. Our Snow Management members will be monitoring during this run and there is a potential for a secondary salt service run right after the first run is completed. We will update should this be required. For the first salt service run we have an estimated completion of 2am on February 17, 2023. Temperatures during this weather episode are hovering around -1 to -2° and getting colder. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
