The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a full salt service run of all properties across all regions as of 10pm on February 14, 2024.  All teams were completed their routes as of 3am on February 15, 2024.  Our teams performed this salt service run in preparation for the snow storm that is forecasted for February 15, 2024 to begin around 10am and ending close to 5pm.  This salt run was performed in order to help combat the snow that is starting to fall in the late morning hours of February 15.  During this weather episode on February 15 temperatures are forecasted to be sitting around freezing and starting to climb above freezing towards the end of the weather system.  We are forecasted within these regions to see close to 5-10cm of snowfall during the daytime.  The heaviest part of the storm is forecasted to begin around 1pm and taper off by 4pm.  Our snow management teams will be monitoring this weather system and storm and will be making a plan of attack come the morning once we re-evaluate the storm system.   Our teams performed this salt service run this evening before being sent home for a mandatory rest period to prepare for the storm on February 15, 2024.  All teams remain on standby as the snow management teams monitor the weather and sites.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
