Paramount Service teams will be monitoring all sites throughout the early morning hours of December 4, 2020 as we are expected to see possible mixed precipitation throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown. There is a chance to see close to 1mm of rain to 1cm of snowfall during the early morning hours, the temperatures are remaining around 3 degrees through the over night hours and 2 degrees during the day time. With the residual salt down on properties we do not anticipate any servicing of properties to take place but all teams are on standby and will be available should we have to service.

Paramount Service teams started their routes to perform a full salt service at sites within Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Brantford as of 9am on December 4, 2020. These sites were receiving a mix of snow and rain throughout the early morning hours and accumulation amounts of 1 to 1.5cm of snow. All sites received this service run to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as the temperatures are hovering around the 0 to 1 degree mark.

Paramount Service teams for Guelph started their salt service runs as of 11am, these sites received around 1 to 1.5cm of snowfall with a mixed precipitation that was taking place throughout the morning of December 4. This service run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas from forming as the temperatures remain around the 0 to 1 degree mark with a potential for freezing.

Mixed Precipitation

Paramount Service teams started their runs in the Scarborough service areas as of 5am on December 4. These sites were seeing a mix of rain and snow, Scarborough received anywhere from 1 to 1.5cm of slush so all teams were sent out to perform a salt service run to help prevent any slippery areas from forming. Temperatures are hovering around the 0 to 1 degree mark throughout the day, the mixed precipitation is forecasted to taper off early afternoon.

Paramount Service teams in the Toronto and Markham areas started a salt service run as of 11am on December 4. These sites were seeing a mix of rain and snow that began around the morning rush hour. The salt service run is being performed to help combat slippery areas from forming as the temperatures are remaining between 0 and 1 degrees throughout the day and in to the early afternoon. The weather is supposed to clear up in the afternoon.
