Throughout these regions we received anywhere from 1 to 3cm of snowfall throughout this weather episode that started around 4pm on January 6. Snow continued until the early morning of January 7th tapering off around 2am. Within Waterdown and Milton, these regions saw a little more snow closer to the 3cm mark. There is a potential for some scattered flurries to take place between 7am and 8am on January 7th, 2024. With temperatures hovering around the 0°C and dipping below freezing our teams performed a full salt service run as of 9pm on January 6, 2024. This salt run was performed to help combat the snow that has fallen as well any slippery areas that may rise due to the temperatures dipping below freezing as well to help combat further flurries that are in the forecast for the morning. Teams within these regions completed their salt service run as of 2am on January 7th, 2024. Please check back to this site for service level updates for all regions as well as weather updates.
