Paramount Service teams within Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown have been monitoring all sites throughout the early morning hours of February 12, 2021. Snow started to come down within Waterdown around 4am and started to accumulate as of 7:30am with around 2cm of snowfall. As of 7:30am we have teams checking the other areas within these service regions. East Burlington and Oakville seem to be getting hit with this lake effect snow as well and have received anywhere from 1 – 2cm of accumulation. All teams within these regions are on standby for the call out to start servicing. Please check back to this site for service level updates.
**UPDATE – As of noon on February 12, 2021 our teams within Burlington and Oakville have been dispatched to perform a plow service run. These areas have started to exceed the 5cm threshold of snow. Heavy Snow squalls off the lake will be persisting for the next 2 to 3 days. Some Weather outlets are predicting as much as 50cm of snow by Sunday night. We will be out and about throughout today on February 12, 2021 and the weekend clearing, prioritizing senior homes, medical buildings and anything essential service wise. We will be preforming multiple clearing runs throughout the next 72 hours. At this time we ask from you our valued customer to please be patient, this may not be our typical snow event. If 30 to 50cm does fall we will be working around the clock with the exception of necessary sleep breaks for our hard working crews. If you do not have to leave your home we suggest that you do not.
Snow Squall Warning

Snow squalls are expected. Under the snow squall bands, visibilities will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow, and snow will quickly accumulate.
Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm can be expected before the snow tapers off this afternoon. Visibility will be near zero at times in snow and blowing snow, especially along the QEW between Burlington and Stoney Creek.
