Paramount Service teams within Toronto, Scarborough and Markham have been monitoring all sites as well this weather system that has been coming through these service regions starting 6am on January 22nd, 2021. All sites still have residual salt on properties and no servicing as of 8am is required. We are forecasted to see less than a centimeter throughout the day today. With temperatures going down to -10 overnight and colder we will be sending all crews out for a salt service run to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. Residential properties will not be serviced during this weather episode as we did not hit the 5cm threshold of snowfall. We will update this site with service times for today’s salt run, please check back to this site for updates.
**UPDATE – As of 11am some sites within Toronto service region are being spot salted to help combat any slippery areas from arising.
Sites within Richmond Hill received a salt service run during the early morning hours of January 22, 2021. These sites had received a trace of snow during the early morning hours and with the temperatures hovering around the freezing mark this salt run was performed to help prevent any slippery areas from arising.
