The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will be monitoring all sites throughout these regions during the evening hours of January 3rd, 2024.  We have a potential system that could pass through these regions as of 4pm on January 3 and go until 11pm.  There is a potential for less than a centimeter that could pass through these regions between this time.  Temperatures during this system are forecasted to be hovering around 1° to 0°C but temperatures are dropping well below freezing during the over night hours reaching to -7°C.  All teams remain on standby for potential servicing and we will update this site accordingly.  Please check back to this site for service level updates for all regions as well as weather updates.

** UPDATE – As of 11pm, all sites have been checked and no servicing is required as it appears this weather system has passed.  Our teams remain on standby and should servicing be required our teams will deploy.  Please check back for future service level updates.

** UPDATE – As of 4am all sites were checked, Burlington, Oakville and Milton did not require servicing but Waterdown required to receive a salt service run.  Within these sites we had received a trace of snow during this system.  The teams performed a salt service run within this region to help combat the snow that fell as well to help combat any slippery areas that may arise.  Temperatures during this run were around -3 and hitting close to -7.  All teams remain on standby within this region and all others should service levels change.

** UPDATE – As of 11pm our teams within Kitchener and Waterloo started seeing a lake effect streamer come through these regions.  Our teams within these regions have started a salt service run.  This service run is being performed to help combat the snow that has fallen and potential flurries that could fall throughout this system as well to combat any slippery areas that may arise.  Temperatures during this system are hovering around -1 but is forecasted to reach -7 by early morning.  We have an estimated completion of this run by 5am within these regions.  Our teams within Cambridge and Guelph are monitoring sites during this episode and as of 11pm we have not received reports of servicing to be required.  We will update as the evening goes on should servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
