The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a salt service run within Oakville, Milton and Waterdown as of 6:30am on February 17, 2024.  Within these regions as of 6:30am, our teams within Oakville were called in to complete a full salt service run, by 8am the sites within Milton were re-assessed and required a salt service run also.  We started seeing streamers that pushed through this regions around 5:30am, and our crews were dispatched as the snow started and began to service this region.  Sites were serviced with a salt run to help combat the snow that had fallen as well further flurries throughout the day on February 17, 2024.  During this weather event Burlington did not require any servicing to be done.  Our snow management teams will continue to monitor the weather as there is a chance for 1-1.5cm of snowfall during the hours of 10pm on February 17 until 3am on February 18, 2024.  We anticipate a salt service run will be required to help combat the snow that is in the forecast with temperatures sitting around -5° this will help combat the flurries as well any slippery areas from forming.  Our management teams will continue to monitor the system and will update as a decision is made should servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Cambridge started a full run as of 1am for a salt service run due to a band of snow that came through, we received anywhere from half centimeter to centimeter of snow, the salt service run was performed to help combat the snow that fell as well to help prevent slippery areas from forming due to the temperatures being well below freezing hovering around -8°.  During this system Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph did not require servicing.
