The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge will be monitoring a potential system that is in the forecast for the early morning hours of February 17, 2024. During the hours of 9am until 3pm on February 17, 2024 we are forecasted to see a potential less than a centimeter of scattered flurries. Temperatures will be hovering around -5° throughout the duration of this system. Our snow management staff will be monitoring this weather system and our service teams remain on standby should servicing be required. There is a potential for a salt service run that may be required to be performed. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

Discussion:
Heavy lake effect flurries are forecast to redevelop early tonight. By early Saturday morning, these flurries may strengthen into more organized bands and then continue through the day Saturday before weakening and shifting north of the area late Saturday afternoon.
