Salt Service Run Completion December 5, 2024

The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown started a full salt service run of all properties within these regions as of 10 pm on December 5, 2024.  In the forecast of overnight and early morning hours of December 5, 2024, we were forecasted to potentially see less than a centimeter of flurries throughout the overnight hours, with temperatures below freezing sitting around -4°C with a low of -6°C our teams are performing this service run to help combat the flurries as well combat any slippery areas that may arise.  From the weather episode on December 4, when an additional band of snow came through after the servicing had been completed our teams will also be salting due to some areas that may be icy.  We have a potential for another 2cm of snowfall on Saturday, December 7, 2024, so this salt run is also in preparation for the upcoming weather event. Our teams completed this service run as of 2 am on December 6, 2024.

Our teams are all on standby should servicing be required throughout these regions along with our snow management team, who will continue to monitor all sites and update should any servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

Light Flurries

The Paramount Service teams throughout London and Woodstock started a full-service run of all properties within these regions as of 10 pm on December 5, 2024.  With temperatures below freezing sitting around -5°C with a low of -8°C our teams are performing this service run to help combat any slippery areas that may arise.  Within London, this region is forecasted to see a possible additional 3 to 6 cm of snowfall during the overnight and into the early morning hours before tapering off around 6 am on December 6, 2024.  Our teams while on site tonight will also be taking the opportunity to tidy sites up where parked cars may have been during last night’s service run.  Our teams completed their service run around 2 am on December 5, 2024, and will continue to monitor the weather as we are expecting more.
