The Paramount Service teams throughout Oshawa and Ajax started a service run as of 10 pm on December 5, 2024. Within these regions, we received anywhere from 2 to 3 cm of snowfall throughout the day on December 4th, 2024, and an additional 1 to 2cm during the evening hours. The system started around 5 pm and tapered off around 1 am. We sent the teams out to perform a salt service run throughout Burlington, Oakville, and Milton, our sites within Waterdown required to be plowed as they had received 5cm. During this system, the temperatures were hovering between 0° and 1° and started to drop below freezing during the early morning hours. This service run was performed to help combat the snow that fell and to prevent any slippery areas from arising. Between the hours of 4 and 6 am, we received another band of snow that reached across all regions which dropped a trace of snow. Our teams completed their salt and plow services as of 5 am on December 5, 2024, and our snow management teams remained out checking sites to ensure the safety of our clients.
Our snow management team will continue to monitor all sites and update should any servicing be required. Our teams remain on standby should servicing be required. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
