The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown have been monitoring the weather episode that has been taking place across all regions throughout the day of January 12, 2023. These regions have seen rainfall as of which began around 3pm on January 12, 2023. We are forecasted to see some mix precipitation with rain / snow from the hours of 7pm to 10pm and forecasted to transition from rain to snow around midnight. Our teams have been monitoring and gauging this storm as we are forecasted in most regions to see anywhere from 2 to 5cm of snowfall throughout this weather event. At this time we are anticipating a salt run possibly to begin as early as midnight on January 13 or as late as 2am on January 13, 2023. The salt run will be performed to help combat the snow that is falling as well any slippery areas that may arise as temperatures will be dipping to the freezing mark around midnight.
