The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge teams were out monitoring all sites throughout the day on February 12th, 2022 for any unsafe or slippery areas. Teams spot salted where necessary. Teams will continue to monitor all sites throughout the overnight and early morning hours of February 13th, 2022 as temperatures are going to be very cold throughout all regions. We are forecasted to reach around -17° during the overnight hours. With the full salt run performed on February 11th, 2022 all sites should not require further servicing but our teams are on standby should it be required. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
** UPDATE – As of 8pm on February 12th our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge will be out performing a salt service run on sites that are required. Other sites may only require a spot salt due to the run off of snow becoming slippery. Sites within these regions will be serviced throughout the evening and into the overnight hours of February 13th.
With the temperatures dropping well below the freezing point during the early morning of February 12th, 2022 this salt run is being performed to help any slippery areas from forming. We have an anticipated completion of all routes as of 11pm on February 11th, 2022. Please check back for further service level updates.
