Site Checks and Monitoring December 5, 2020

Paramount Service teams were out checking all sites throughout the overnight hours of December 5, 2020. Hamilton, Grimsby and Stoney Creek have all been checked and at this time no need for a salt service run throughout. Temperatures are around 3 degrees during the overnight hours. All teams will remain on standby should service levels change but at this time we don’t anticipate servicing to be required.

Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Cambridge and Brantford have been checked and at this time there is no need for a salt service run. There is residual salt from the servicing that took place December 4 and this will help prevent slippery areas from forming. Temperatures are around 3 degrees during the overnight hours. Some sites received spot salting to help prevent slippery areas from forming. Temperatures are remaining around 2 degrees and all teams will be on standby should service levels change.

Teams were out performing spot salting at properties where required with puddles. This is to help prevent slippery areas from forming. Temperatures are to remain around the 2 degree mark during the overnight and into the morning of December 5, 2020. All teams will remain on standby should service levels change.
