The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge were monitoring all sites throughout the early morning hours of March 31, 2023. Our Guelph teams were called out as of 4am to perform a salt service run of properties, due to the freezing rain that was taking place in the early morning hours our teams were deployed to perform this run to help combat slippery areas that may form. Temperatures within Guelph are hovering around the freezing mark and will continue to have the chance of freezing rain until 7am. Our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge have been out monitoring all sites throughout these cities and as of 5am no servicing was required within these cities. Within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge the precipitation that is being seen is rain not freezing rain as temperatures are hovering around 0 and forecasted to rise throughout the morning and transition to rain. Our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge will continue to monitor all sites throughout the morning, all teams remain on standby should the service requirements change. We have an estimated completion of the salt run within Guelph as of 9am on March 31, 2023.
