Paramount Service teams in Guelph will be monitoring all sites throughout the day of January 19, 2021. The weather forecast has changed and within these regions we are forecasted to see a few flurries throughout the day and into the evening. All teams are on standby should a service run be required, with the salt run performed during the early morning hours of January 19 the sites should be fine with residual salt. Paramount Service teams within Waterloo started a salt service run as of 8am on January 19, 2021. This region were reported to receive as of 7am on January 19 approximately 2 to 3cm of snowfall. Waterloo got hit a little harder with this system that came through. This salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as the temperatures are below 0 throughout the day. Teams are out checking sites within Kitchener and Cambridge as they saw the same weather system and will perform a salt service run where required as some sites still have residual salt from the salt run performed January 18, 2021.
