The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph started their routes to perform a salt service run as of 2am on February 25, 2021. All sites had a decent amount of run off due to temperatures being high during the day of February 24. This run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as the temperatures are going below freezing throughout the early morning hours and during the day of February 25. We have an estimated completion of these routes as of 6am on February 25, 2021.
Our teams within Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge are out as of 9pm on February 24, 2021 checking sites and spot salting where required to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. Temperatures throughout the day were around +6 degrees and are forecasted to go below freezing overnight with a chance of flurries. Our teams will remain on call should the weather change and require more servicing in these regions. All sites were serviced by 1:30am on February 25, 2021.
