The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge will continue to monitor sites within these regions on December 18, 2022. We don’t anticipate any servicing to be required but we are forecasted to see some scattered flurries with less than a centimeter throughout the day today. Temperatures are hovering around the 0 degree mark. Our teams are monitoring and if servicing is required our teams are on standby to deploy. Please check back to this site for future updates.
UPDATE – Throughout the evening of December 18 sites within our Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo regions had another bout of snow that came through these regions. Forecast was possible for 1-3 cm of snowfall and these areas saw around 1-2cm throughout this weather episode. All sites within these regions will be receiving a salt service run. This run is being performed to help combat the snow that has fallen as well there is a chance for some scattered flurries throughout the morning which this salt run will help combat as well. Temperatures throughout this weather episode and salt run will be below the freezing point. Our teams have an estimated completion of these runs within Guelph as of 4am as their run began as of 11pm. Kitchener, Waterloo is beginning as of 12am with an estimated completion of this run by 5am. Sites within Cambridge have been monitored throughout this system but it seems as though these areas were not hit by the snow that came through. Teams within Cambridge will continue to montiro the sites as well weather and we will update this site should this change.
