The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge will monitor sites within these regions on December 16, 2022. Within these regions we are seeing a little system coming through during the evening of December 16. We are seeing some scattered flurries but temperatures are still above the freezing point and salt residue should help combat further snow from sticking. There is a potential for less than a centimeter of snowfall throughout these regions during the overnight hours. Our teams are monitoring and if servicing is required our teams are on standby to deploy. Please check back to this site for future updates.
** UPDATE – Our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo will be starting a salt service run December 17 as of 1am. Within these areas we received a little more than just scattered flurries during this system that came through earlier tonight. Our teams were monitoring all sites and have decided a salt service run is best to be performed to help combat the snow that fell as well to help combat any slippery areas from forming as the temperatures are dropping below freezing.
** UPDATE – Our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo completed their salt service run as of 3:30am on December 17. All sites were serviced with a salt run to help combat slippery areas from forming as the temperatures dropped below freezing point.
