The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown are monitoring the weather within these regions during the day of March 12, 2022. Earlier this morning we experienced some snow squalls that didn’t amount to any accumulation of snow. All teams were put on standby earlier this morning as we are forecasted to see less than a centimeter of snow fall until 10pm. As of 3:15pm on March 12 a Weather Statement was posted that there is a chance for some lake effect snow that could effect these regions and with snowfall amounts up to 5cm of snow. Our Snow Management teams will be monitoring all sites as well the weather and teams will be called out if servicing is required. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
** UPDATE – As of 8pm our teams were out checking sites throughout these regions, all sites within Burlington, Oakville, Milton were checked and all clear no servicing is required at this time. Sites within the Waterdown region require a salt run to be performed. Throughout the day we received scattered flurries which ended around 9pm on March 12. Teams for the Waterdown area was called out to perform a salt service run as of 9pm on March 12, this salt run is to help combat the flurries from the day and with temperatures dipping below freezing during the overnight and early morning hours this will help combat any slippery areas from forming. All sites within Waterdown were completed by 11pm on March 12, 2022.
** UPDATE – As of 11pm on March 12, 2022 our teams in Milton were sent out for a salt service run of all properties throughout this region. Throughout the day we received scattered flurries which ended around 9pm on March 12. Teams for the Milton area was called out to perform a salt service run as of 11pm on March 12, this salt run is to help combat the flurries from the day and with temperatures dipping below freezing during the overnight and early morning hours this will help combat any slippery areas from forming. All sites within Milton were completed by 1am on March 13, 2022.
Our teams will be monitoring the next weather episode that is forecasted throughout all regions on March 13 to begin around 12pm and end around 4pm, we are forecasted for less than a centimeter of flurries throughout the afternoon.
