The Paramount Service teams within Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby began their salt service runs as of 3:30am on December 1st. Most sites within these service areas received anywhere from 1 to 3cm of snowfall. This salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the temperatures dropping below 0 during the overnight hours. All shovel crews are also out performing services for walkways. At this time within these areas other than Carlisle no residential property will be serviced as we have not yet hit the 5cm threshold. We have an estimated completion of this service run by 11:30am on December 1.
** Update as of 4am all sites within Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby will be receiving a full plow service which a salt run will commence right after. There was a band of snow that came through these service areas which dropped around 5cm of snowfall as well drifting so our teams have switched gears. This will delay our estimated completion of services on sites. All residential properties will be serviced during this episode. Please check back to this site for future updates should servicing be required to change **
