Paramount Service teams within Guelph completed their salt service run of all sites and walks as of 10am on December 9, 2020. Guelph received around a 1 to 1.5cm of snow fall. This salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as the temperatures were hovering around the 0 to 1 degree mark. The temperatures are forecasted to rise which will also help dry the sites up.
The teams within Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge were out during the morning after rush hour performing spot salting of sites where it was necessary. Not a full salt service run was required within these cities.
Brantford did not see any precipitation from this weather episode that took place during the early morning hours of December 9.
