The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Brantford started a full salt service run as of 5pm on December 31, 2023.  We are forecasted to receive anywhere from 1 to 3 cm throughout these regions.  Temperatures throughout this weather episode remain above freezing until the early morning and are expected to hit around -4.  The salt run is being performed to help combat slippery areas that may arise with temperatures being below freezing as well as combat the snow that is forecasted to fall.  We have an estimated completion of all routes as of 10pm on December 31, 2023.  Please check back to this site for service level updates for all regions as well as weather updates.
